Primary Tasks & Responsibilities

Inside the business unit, Business Operations is a team providing reporting, support and tools to the Business to sustain various key business and management processes.

With a view to increase the efficiency of our services, we have a need to enhance and automate some processes currently done semi - manually mainly in Excel and in SAP and Excelsius (SAP crystal Dasboard Design)

We have also a need for strong support in development of new costing models.

We therefore search for a consultant having an economic and financial background and also a high expertise in reporting automation, Visual Basic coding and web based possibilities (workflow management and web-based input templates) to develop solutions in the following areas:

In the area of Reporting

? To analyze and understand current reporting methodologies and objectives (various sources

and various final outputs required),

? Identify SWOT of current reporting method,

? Identify gaps and propose ways to improve them mainly in the areas of

o Database setting from different sources (SAP, excel)

o Development to industrialize load, conversion tables and their updates,

o Definition and automation of integrated financial and operational reporting systems (actuals and forecast),

o Automation of reporting booklet in Powerpoint with visual Excel graphs, tables,

o Web-based templates development sustaining some data management updates.

? Automation of a KPI Management Cockpit

? Development of monitoring tools to the attention of the Business to report on the various process flows related to spents (ex.: purchase orders, task orders, invoices,)

? Documentation of the different programs & tools set in place to ensure further possible adaptations by the team without having to call back for external expertise (knowledge transfer required).

In the area of Costing model

? Help in the creation and automation of a model supporting the Full Study Costing (including internal but also outsourced and external cost).

In the area of resources

? Analyze current information sources and reportings needs to come up with an integrated and automated monitoring and reporting solution (actuals and forecast).

? In the area of timesheets (SAP), develop automatic monitoring & reporting tool and reminder process.

? Develop models and algorithms to sustain forecasting of resources and further potential sourcing process (external and internal).

? Develop web-based templates and input screens to update information and enable clear documentation. Experience, Knowledge & Soft Skill Requirements

? Deep knowledge and expert in programming in Excel, Visual Basic script, DB Management, automatic workflow and wed based templates

? Knowledge of SAP as main source of information for various process above

? Knowledge of share point is a plus to enable integration of developed solution within our team site
