Currently we are looking for a motivated Finance Analyst to join our Intellectual Property team in Waregem. In this function you will support the Finance Manager.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • You prepare and follow up on (outgoing) invoices and payments;
  • You ensure all customers remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines
  • You are the main contact person for the shared service center in the other accounting domains
  • You actively participate in the monthly closing process and are involved in the monthly reporting process and quarterly audit cycle
  • You take an active role in an upcoming project to optimize the ERP system and roll out a new reporting and dashboarding structure.
  • You analyze financial data taking into account the company’s goals and provide the business with timely and reliable information.
  • You provide recommendations to improve financial performance
  • You assist in administrative tasks as required for accounting and controlling projects
  • You often interact and partner with other finance teams within Unilin
  • You keep track of relevant developments in own field, exchange knowledge with colleagues and contribute to knowledge transfer within the organization

Profile

  • You have a bachelor or Master degree in Finance
  • You have a first experience within finance
  • You have good written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch. But can also communicate in French.
  • You have good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • If you have knowledge of SAP that’s a plus
  • You are methodical, attentive to detail and accurate
  • You are a proactive and enthusiastic team player, but you’re also able to work independently
  • You have a straight-forward and hands on mentality
  • You are a fast learner and eager to further develop skills
  • You are able to build and maintain relationships and communicate effectively with internal clients and external stakeholders
  • You want to work in an international environment
