Our client, active in the industry sector, is located in the south of Brussels and is looking to strengthen their team with a motivated co-worker.
As Credit Analyst, you will be accountable for credit risk assessment of strategic customers' portfolios and would report the the Credit Manager Europe. You will develop a strng knowledge about your customer, following up on their financial situation. Your tasks will be the following:
- Handle independtly strategic customer portfolios (account creation, order release, customer visits, monitoring of A/R, follo up with Sales Managers);
- Analyse credit data, customer records and financial statements, generate financial ratios to evaluate customers and determine the degree of risk involved in granting credit;
- Work in close collaboration with Sales Managers, anticipate credit limits calculations based on business forecast, follow-up on margins and commercial strategies;
- Operate as Credit Manager back-up when required (month-end reporting tasks,…) ;
The qualifications needed as a Credit Analyst are the following:
- A University diploma in Finance, Management or Accountancy;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience;
- A very good knowledge of Excel and an experience with an ERP;
- Excellent knowledge of English and French (spoken/written);
- You are analytical, results driven and stress resistant.
